Oh, dear, that gives me a tight feeling in my 'shipper heart. I like how it is kind of a parallel to Susan. The First Doctor felt it was right for her to stay and locked her out. The way what you wrote makes me feel is that the grandfatherly love was entirely unselfish, and here the Doctor is struggling with what he wants and what's best for Rose. So very good.

OMG, I hate you and love you at the same time, I do, because you have made me sad, but it is written so well and with that bittersweet twinge of humour which is definitley in line with the show that I love it.

Bittersweet Twinge Example that I loved: "He knew that he sounded like some sulky young two-hundred-year-old"
