Why you confused???
It's tablet all the way, baby. This is the sort of thing the layers were really meant for. Textual layers. Time consuming, difficult with awesome results. I think so, anyways. :D

fffffffffffffffffffff i think you are trying to kill me with amazing storytelling AND art. wow. this is BEAUTIFUL and i really appreciate your use of textures--the smoothness of nick's shirt, it really looks silky, and of course art's pants and boots, then his HAIR, the bits of red, the detail is so perfect. AND HIS EYES, his blue blue eyes popping right out of the whole picture and RIGHT at nick. be still my heart.
