I saw part of an interesting nature show the other night. It was about giraffes, or at least the few minutes I watched were about giraffes

I find, as a Christian, that I laugh at a lot of Christian shows. They need to target the biggest and most widespread belief, which means they generally just go uber Christian.

There's always my personal take on what happened, which is God knew where he wanted the animals to end up, set the parameters and basically said 'Alright, go have fun and make your best go at combinations. I'll make sure you actually get there eventually.'

Of course, most of my church would frown at my outlook, but there's that...

That is a reasonable view, and the best way, in my opinion, to combine "God created everything" and current evolutionary theory.

I don't care what people believe, really, but using science they don't believe and don't understand to "prove" their side is mock-able.
