I like the haircut! :) I cut my hair short for the first time last year and I love it so much that I'll never go back to long hair.
Does your stylist specialize in curly hair? At the salon I go to, they have a guy who is an expert at how to cut curly hair. I've watched him do a woman's hair before and it's like magic. He completely understands the unique structure of how the hair falls and the cuts he does are amazing. My point is, you should find a stylist who specializes in curls and maybe s/he can give you a cut like the one you want (sharply angled) but still maintain the overall shape of your curls. :)
Thank you! I'm really liking how convenient it is to not have to deal with any hair in the back. I was always having to pull my hair out from various predicaments. So weird to not have to do that anymore!
The stylist was alright. She was very nice, and she's African, so she had naturally curly hair. She didn't specialize in curly hair, though. Mom wasn't able to get an appointment with the person who specializes in curly hair. Maybe for my next haircut.
