"I got home for Christmas.Ans it was beautiful...And it was weird...And it was sad...

Everything was the same and yet everything was different.At first I felt like a guest in my own house and city.And then I felt like I belonged there once again.And now on the first day of this new year I feel like it

I also felt like that when I arrived to Santiago (I felt like a tourist at first), but then days passed by, and I felt like I've been here for my whole life, and that me being in the States was simply a dream. You know, I think I'm even going out more than I used to both here and in the States (eating out, to a small music venue, friends' houses, cinema). Even going grocery shopping allows me to feel good. I have also realized how many people go with their head downs here, and how many of them don't realize some cool stuff they have nearby.

I also don't believe on resolutions, but on trying to be your best every day.

I'll try to Google the songs later. By what it seems, it feels like they talk about time.

I agree with you...In these three weeks I got out and saw more things that what I would in a whole year if I was in Athens...I guess you realise that time is not infinite and when you want something you just got to do it...

To help the first song says that the time that our parents "directed" our fete had gone by,and continues to another verse that says that it's our turn to hold high the gifts of the festivities...

For the second one here is a rather bad translation(but the best I can think of...lol):
Because time does not exist
because time is you and all the other people
And no one doesn't know what life might bring
And the whole thing is a big fete
And whoever said:To the next year
means that we are not done yet
happy new year and in our capacity
and say the same you too...
