Mmm, Cianwood is such a welcoming place to be this time of year. I wish I didn't have to leave it, but it's about high time I checked up on things back home, I think. Would anyone be up for lunch and maybe a good chat this week while I'm still on this side of the ocean? Do let me know

This wouldn't so happen to be young Miss May from Hoenn, would it? That very May that I know? The very same one that battled me for my gym badge?

How have you been?! The last thing I expected was a message from you! I can't believe I missed the fact that you joined the network! (I really do need to pay more attention to all the happenings, evidently.)
Oh, how are your Pokémon doing? The gym? I'd actually thought about visiting Fortree once I'd gotten back to Hoenn--it seems as though this is a clear sign that I definitely should. :)
((LKJASDF yes I finally managed to get my butt into gear, I hope it stays! ;; <3 <3 ))

My Pokemon and I have been just fine, as is the gym. Not much as changed with our structure and way of life, but I am looking forward to traveling more, as contact with foreign lands would have it. It makes me yearn for the world over yonder once again!
I see you are traveling, too. You're outside of Hoenn? Where are you?

Oh, I'm so glad to hear that you've been doing well! And I hardly blame you for wanting to travel more--I can't imagine having the patience to stay in one place for as long as gym leaders must. These devices are certainly no help, either; so many interesting people with their stories of places to see! How can we resist?
Do you have any travel plans in particular?

Thank you so much. They were amazing! While I'm in Olivine, I'll need to stop by and thank you in person for sure. ♥

No problem. Stop by and I'll make us some hot chocolate.

It sounds like you had a rather interesting New Years Eve! I ended up spending mine on the ocean somewhere by the Seafoam Islands. It was pretty quiet, but still nice. There were even a couple of Seels and Dewgongs about, so it was kind of cool to watch them swimming by us.

...Oh, and this is Wally by the way. I would be using my old PNG but um...I sort of accidentally dropped it in the ocean while surfing past the Seafoam Islands and only just recently got a replacement for it. ^^;;

Wally! I was wondering what grand adventures you might have been on this time! And oh dear, I understand about the PNG. (The only reason I haven't lost mine again is probably because it's been sitting dormant in the bottom of my bag for the past three months, oops.)
The Seafoam Islands does seem like a very peaceful and beautiful area to spend the holidays! Where might you be off to next?

I haven't decided yet. I think I only have two more badges to get until I have all the badges here in Kanto now, so...I think it's just Celadon and Viridian's gyms left to go to, so I've been thinking about heading towards either city. (Although, I'm in Lavender Town at the moment, so I suppose Celadon would be closer...)

Lavender Town always manages to give me the heebie-jeebies. There's just something very... strangely surreal about the whole area. Have you felt anything like that since getting in?

I guess February IS coming up pretty soon, isn't it? I never really do much for Valentine's, except give chocolate to my colleagues. Girls have cooties, anyway. ;)

And I know, I know, I've been terrible! I promise to be better. Though I haven't seen you around in an awful long time either, mister. Been breaking and entering anywhere else lately, or have you had enough of girls and their cooties from the last time? ;) I have been using your present, for the record. They've come very much in handy for the sunnier days, even if oftentimes the only ones to appreciate them are wandering Mareep and flocks of Pidgey!

Maybe if you returned to the land of the living, you'd have more people around to appreciate them. :) Glad you like them, though!

Hmm... romantic plans? I have usually spent most of my past Valentine's Day by handing chocolates out to my fellow co-workers! There is also the fact that it's quite a busy time of year for me, as many wish to present bouquets to their loved ones. They do turn out quite nicely, if I do say so myself!
