That's exactly how I go about it... how did you know? Mostly I favor using a machete, but on tough days I go with a nice blunt axe.

Though, if the computer's not behaving, I skip straight to the chainsaw.

Unfortunately, I tend to write veeeery sloooowly. So it's less of a "whacking away" sort of thing than it is an ages-long struggle that devours heart and soul.

I do have utterly random days on which I am capable of whacking. Those are nice.

AHHH MY COMPUTER IS SO LUCKY IT HAS NOT BEEN CHUCKED INTO A RANDOM DUMPSTER. I swear.

We seriously should create a sanctuary for traumatized muses. It would be very useful, especially November-ish, I'd imagine.

Sometimes I end up thumping my head against a wall... because it is so much less painful than writing. (and writing is what I want to do for a living... geesh. Masochist much?)

Your WiPs look interesting... (bonus points for digging up your first fanfic!) I really like the first one, despite not knowing what's going on. And the third... the whole elven magic/fantasy/healing thing makes me wibble, so I like where that one is going.
