Magazines like this tend to make me feel discontent
I totally get what you're saying here. I see all the pretty things in there and think that my life is incomplete if my life is not that pretty. If I don't have gorgeous accessories surrounding me in what I wear, what I eat and how I decorate my apartment. But then I have to remember, it's all just stuff. I can't take it with me when I die, so I need to just get over it.

Exactly. I know in my head that I'm being influenced and that what I see there doesn't matter, but that doesn't stop it from influencing my mood and making me want to go out and buy things. No good.
