Season 5 was absolutely the weakest link, but I did like how it all tied it together in the end. What a brilliant piece of television. S4 is the most heartbreaking, yet perfect season of TV in a long, long time, IMO.
I'm sort of dying to rewatch it all, but don't have the patience for Netflix.
Fun fact: my car is named Ronnie after ASA Rhonda Pearlman.
And I was devastated when Omar died. DEVASTATED.

What a brilliant piece of television.
I keep thinking about this--how this show embodies the benefits and uses of TV so perfectly. It's complex long-form storytelling that means something, and I love it for that.

I am about halfway through season 4 of The Wire, and love it SO MUCH, especially Prez, and also find myself rooting for Carcetti to do well as mayor-elect.
And now I will say no more because I am writing this with my eyes on the wall and not on the screen.

I watched the pilot yesterday, and liked it a lot. So...here we go, Sunnydale!
