If it doesn't have AIM, download it. I have sort of the same problem with my sister. Only, now, I can kick her off whenever I feel like it because the computer is in my room. I've been updating ALWKIF. I don't know if you've been reading it or not. Not many people have been reviewing. If you haven't been reading, I think you're about two chapters behind.
