... but I wish she knew a bit more about sewing.

A few years ago she gave me this pattern (and accompanying fabric) for a nice garment that really wasn't my style, so I never made it.  But it is just what I need for Halloween this year, so I am making it now.  Now I'm sure she thought that a pattern with sizes 6 through 12 would, of course, contain ( Read more... )

They even have the handy measurments-to-size chart on the back, generally.

I envy your ability to say "I am a size X." I've always been a combination of at least 3 different sizes in different places. It makes life.... interesting. Of course, maybe that's true for you, too, and you're just simplifying to make the point.

I've never been competent enough to even dream of being on a volleyball team. I am very impressed by your volleyball prowess. :)

This particular garment fits tightly around the breasts and loosely everywhere else, so I didn't actually bother to measure anything else for this pattern. My breasts are, generally speaking, my smallest size though.
