Son of a bitch, I'm sick of these dolphins.

So, tonight I watched one of my favorite movies, The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou, and I cried at the end.  I don't even know why I cry watching movies.  I always feel like such a baby afterwards.  Does this happen to anyone else or am I just an emotional baby?

I got a call back about a job today but it was lame.  He offered $7.25/hour and told me ( Read more... )

hahahahahaha (the laundry thing) hahahaha! what i do is just rinse under the water that's filling the washer.

i cry during movies too :( haha, and it's so annoying because michael always notices and says, awww are you crying and then kisses me. i do that in theaters too... then i get to walk out with a tear stained face! hahahaha.

$7.25! that's not that bad. what is minimum wage there these days?

Yeah, I cry at theaters too! I always hope no one notices my tiny sniffles and then I'll just nonchalantly rub my eyes as if they are itchy.. It's super cute that Michael gives you kisses.

I think minimum wage is $6.50 but living on $9-$10/hour for the past two years and going down to $7 would not be good. I have to pay for things like phone, rent, electric, insurance...the list goes on and $7 just wouldn't be enough. I'll figure it out though. I had a dream that I was working at Culvers and I also could drive my car without it being on, it just had to be downhill and the mechanic was luckily all down hill! I WISH!

Oh yeah, and I would just rinse the cup under water but we've got a front loading HE washer so water only comes out when it's closed!

sorry to come to your personal journal, but i wanted to save the OPs inbox, lol.
anyway, we made the yogurt chips, we had 2 or 3 of the tray liner things (some have since been lost/broken) and we would get one of the big gtubs of yogurt and make about 3/4s of it, and eat the rest. try it with a smaller container so as not to waste.
i LOVE pineapple rings. and we would put a maraschino cherry in the middle.
we havnt been using it much lately cause we've been pretty busy. but it i or my mom remembers any other things we've made, i will let you know!

Thanks so much, and I don't mind you coming here.. I felt sort of bad for hijacking the OP's thread! I am going to wash it out, it's been siting in a basement for a couple years, and truy some stuff out tomorrow. I am so excited!

OH! this is something we did, but never succeeded with.
we had a ton of canned cream corn from when it was on sale, and we didnt know what to do with it, and it suggested pytting that on the tray and making corn chips. it worked, but they didnt have the proper texture... they had almost a stale texture... and they were too sweet...
maybe worth a try though? run it through twice and sprinkle some salt on it?
