this just continually bothers me

I don't like crucifixes. Of the several dozen things in relation to Christianity I'm not wholly fond of, that's a biggie. Perhaps if Jesus had been executed in some other manner (if he'd been stoned to death would they all be using a bloody rock to represent the faith) it might not be so bad but I just can't my head around how we give all this love

If it had happened in the 18th century, people would be walking around with little miniature guillotines dangling from their necks in silver or gold. Christianity is the only religion that has chosen a device of execution for their universal symbol - yet so many of them claim to be "pro-life."
