I don't think it's a bad thing to have reading preferences - we all do to some extent, pairing/genre etc. It's just better not to be a dick about it IMO. But then, fandom seems to do a lot of things these days that I don't really get, so maybe it is frowned upon!

Yeah, that's what I think to. I really don't get why some people are so worked up about top/bottom preferences. As long as I don't demand of people to write the way that I like to read it, what does it matter? :/
