OMG OMG OMG!!! Your dad is a Beatles fan? Haha, dude I want those embroidered Beatles, I'm such a huge Beatles fan and I collect memorabilia like that. :P Did your aunt make it herself?
We in Belgium celebrate Sinterklaas today, but we don't have "pakjesavond" like you do, and we don't have to write poems, thank god. I'd never have inspiration for them. Yesterday my friend had a little party, and me and some friends agreed to buy each other some 5 euro gifts, so that was maybe a little like "pakjesavond" but it was the first time I had done that.
Yes, yes he is, as am I. Aren't they awesome? And yes, she made it herself. :3
That's cool. We used to celebrate it with the whole family (cousins, uncles, aunts etc.) too, but the family got way to big, so we stopped that. I managed to write a poem eventually. It wasn't to good, but it was something. :P
Oh, happy belated birthday to your dad! Yay, Beatles!
I haven't even started thinking of my Christmas cards yet, Sinterklaas needs all of my attention *bounces* He will finally visit us tomorrow as well. I hope everyone hurries to get to my mom's, so we can get the party started around lunchtime. EEEEeeek. (so excited:)
Ahw, I hope your mom can find the non-evil pepernoten. If not maybe you can just nibble on one or two to get into the mood? I hope you have an awesome Sinterklaas, regardless.
Have loads of fuuuuuuuuuun! *starts singing: "Siiiiiiiiiinterklaasje, kom maar binnen met je knecht...."*
I had to make a lot of them (42! O.o) so I started early. :'3 How was your Sinterklaas party? *hasn't been on flist yet*
We had fun! I got some nice stuff (Loesje scheurkalender and the first season of Dalziel & Pascoe on dvd) and an awesome poem, and my sister really liked what I bought for her (CD from Tomboy, filled with songs about gay guys. XD) even though my poem was crap. So all was good. :D
Ooh, good presents! We once again had a bit of an overload, since we don't do 'lootjes trekken', but buy gifts for everyone. *grins* We were exhausted after all the unwrapping;)
Oh, here's a little gift for you *points at icon* (there's more where that came from;)
