I have this Facebook friend... she is a photographer here in town, did Catie's pictures, and I know her from my larger social circle. We aren't friends, but we know people in common kind of thing. Last night I cracked my laptop screen. Grrr.... It was leaning against the end table and it slid down and the corner went under the recliner I was sitting in, so when I rocked forward to grab the computer, it put too much pressure on the screen and cracked it.... I am so irritated today for no real reason. I had like one annoying thing happen at work yesterday and I lost it. waaaa waaaa *sad trombone* Geoff was let go from jury duty today. Yesterday they split up the jury pool into three groups. Every time I have a head cold and get all stuffed up, my ears get plugged. It is so annoying and I'm sick of it. I want PE tubes. Isn't that dumb? Seriously, right now my ears are all full of pressure and I have these fantasies of getting tubes put in and having my ears immediately drain and feel better. Note to self
I made Hungry Girls' cupcakes the other day, which is just a box of cake mix and a can of canned pumpkin. This time I used red velvet. They are really good and really moist, but the pumpkin has a lot of fiber......and I can only eat about 2 of them a day before things, well, before they start to get "moving". Teething question, please advise!
Every time Catie gets a new tooth, her poop becomes liquidy and acidic. I am guessing that instead of drooling (which she never does), she swallows the excess saliva, which upsets her digestive system and causes the acidic poop. But that's just my guess. Our 1st annual Griswold light competition
Last Saturday night we had our Christmas light competition with the neighbors. It was fun.... we had a small party with about 9 of us adults and 7 kids. The older kids played in the basement pretty much the whole time, so it was like they were hardly there. We were home putting Catie to bed by 9:30. Gotta love adult with kids parties! WTF cat
This is Louie.
I love him. He loves food and has a loud purr and prizes his personal comfort above all else in that cat-like way. He likes to lay in front of the heat vents and get nice and cozy warm, while effectively blocking the vent because he's like 14 lbs of chunk. Plus, he has thumbs. They are adorable. Look how cute he is....
