Goodbye for a while

Two days ago I discovered that there are five viruses on my computer, two of which are rootkits. A good computer-nerd friend of mine said that there's nothing I can do but completely wipe my system and start from scratch

I really hate when it comes that that. After so many reboots of my computer, I decided to store everything I need in USB drives. So if there is a virus on the computer, it wouldn't matter much next time I need to reboot it.
