Right, so! February is just about over. I've almost got more time in which to write again, and I'm not starved for ideas. I should probably become active in writing again sometime soon.
Aah, I was hoping to escape doing things like this... Calvi ruined those plans, though. Curses! *shakes fist*

All of them? Urgh, I'm close to that, I'm just missing Book 2 of the Mage Wars- The White Gryphon, I think it's called. And there's a new book of short stories, Challengers (?), that I saw but I haven't been able to buy yet. I did buy and finish Foundation, though.
Obsidian Trilogy... no, I don't think I have. I think my friend's been reading them, but I haven't had the time to borrow them from him. The Dragon Jousters is what I first read from her.

I wish she'd write some more Valdemar books. I think it'd be neat if she wrote about the founding of Valdemar and the first companions. And I'd like to know more about Iftel, too...
Definitely read the Obsidian Trilogy. Starts slow, but when it picks up you're so totally sucked in. Hmmm, Foundation, help me, which one is that? *needs to go back and re-read them*. Vanyel's story was my first trilogy read and absolutely loved it. Bawled like a baby, but loved it none-the-less ( ... )

Oh, my god, yes. Iftel. Just... I was so happy when they found out about the connections between Iftel and Karse.
Foundation is a pretty new one, about the founding of the colligia. The main character is a herald-trainee called Mags. It's earlier than a lot of the books are, before even the Vanyel ones, I think.
I'll look into all of your recommendations, since they aren't ones I've read before. I've been looking for new authors and series to read anyway, as I wait for my favorite authors to write new books. Speaking of authors, though, have you also heard of Tamora Pierce?
I'm only going to encourage the nattering, trust me.
