I think the snark is definitely a generational thing, but if it gets these issues firmly on to the radar of young women then I think it is overall a positive thing. Young women of my generation were (I think) lulled into a false sense of security and apathy with many gender issues becoming more subtle and underground, so we didn't see the sexism that was right under our noses and now we are paying the price with all this crazy legislation happening right out in the open. There are still so many battles to fight and young women need to see that and pick up where women before them left off.

We had a great fight Sunday over vulva vs.vagina Our expert panel of a straight man, a gay man and a straight woman all agreed the other two didn't know a damn thing.

Taste tests yeah I know a couple things, but that is arcana, you know. Master of the Mystic Arts stuff. ;)

Snark has had its day. I go after it now on sight. It's cheap and it's crap. Irony, snark -- OK you're afraid of real things but it's gone on too long. Grow up.
