So, let's see--I spilled my 24 oz of fresh, heavily adulterated coffee all over the inside of the "new" van. That was enough to bring me to tears for a second. Thinking of the money down the toilet, thinking of Zaubermaus's papers being ruined, thinking of the smell that would make my husband queasy--great.

Scott Walker is actually coming to Wichita, probably to give tips to Brownback on how to ruin this state. It's not as if Brownback needs help in doing that, he's doing just fine on his own.

The protest has been cancelled as Walker has been 'recalled' back to Wisconsin since he didn't want to deal with protesters.

I hate black coffee. It's pretty funny, I have friends who think it's macho. Did not know macho costs four bucks at Dunkin Donuts.

What's the origin of Zaubermaus? Loved Freakshow. Neat word.

I've wondered how much of these are helped along in part by the Occupy protesters. That is, my personal theory is that the protests have gained so much momentum that they'll keep rolling through politics in the immediate future even if the physical presences ended tonight, and that I wouldn't be surprised to see Occupy candidates running for Congress in 2012.
