His description of the Sumerian personality, man that is not Egyptians they are bumptious. They laugh a lot, guys clap each other on the shoulder women kiss one another all day long. This is interesting to watch, gracias. Saddam had civil society in some ways better than now, but when this guy says Nineveh, and the necessity of continuity --Saddam was a student of Nineveh. They came to the same end.

I don't think I can sufficiently express my grief at how the Islamic world and the Western world are so woefully severed.

Severed implies they were connected ever.

With one small exception, at one small point, the Islamic world and the Christian world have always existed separately. (I use these terms very carefully, for it is not "Islam" and the "West". It is deeper than that)

a lil protest

"there can be no finer or more beautiful place than this, to sit in the evening overlooking the river Tigris, talk to the people here who are cheerful, soft spoken, kind, and generous to strangers, fair in their dealings, civilized people."

how beautiful it was.., but since the invasion of US army in iraq, ppl especially the childrens infected by american pop culture. they started to partying, making tatoos, dating?, drinking?!!
they-allied, conscious or unconscious teached and spread evils.
they-us army-and ppl with them probably think by losing their-childrens of iraq-virgins will make them grown up and be a man but all would be happen is suffering unhappy civilization.
look on how japanese rejected with the occupying land for US military base.

i don't know if iraq can reach it's utopia time sooner.

Mood: sad and angry
