Things have gotten a good deal better, with time, venting, and my wonderful, glorious, amazing, steadfast, PATIENT friends.  Thank you.  Again and again and again, thank you.

1) I've so wanted to go to Egypt ever since I was a kid and the King Tut exhibit came through New York (which my mother promised to take me to but I never go to see -- I got the book, though, with tons of photos of all the artifacts).

6) That sounds unbearably cute.

7) Italian-American cuisine *can* be incredibly boring. Italian cuisine, though, especially from Northern Italy, can be exquisite. There's a wild mushroom soup I've been making lately that is to die for.

In all seriousness I have experienced this, yes. Very very unpleasantly so.

But I do think it's really hard to be a short guy in our society today and that sucks.

That said, we are not obligated to fuck them to make it all better, which seems to be confusing to some of them.

I have seen some serious short guy syndrome in a couple of the guys at the firehouse I've worked with before. But I also know some really great short round guys too.
