[Megumi stirs on the couch, her first sound an "oomph" of pain. Her legs had fallen asleep beneath her, and she stretches them out, wincing as the blood returns to the extremities.]

[And her neck is smarting too.]

[She glances at Mitsuhide-san, who is already awake beside her, and gives him a rueful smile.]

We should have moved to the bed . . .

[A wry, fond laugh.]

At least it's morning . . . No more curse!

[A giggle silky with the remnants of sleep, and she strokes his hair gently.]

[She happily molds herself to him, her eyes fluttering shut once again as she kisses him back slowly, sweetly. Her hand moves to his neck, cupping his nape and massaging soothingly there.]

[A pleased smile curves gently upon her lips, and she kisses him again, running her uninjured hand through his hair.]
