This is just about the only Fitzgerald I haven't read (though I've been re-reading his books over the past few days), but all your casting seems PERFECT and now I've really got to hunt down a copy of this!

Also, kind of off-topic but I just watched La tourneuse de pages with Catherine Frot and have discovered a newfound love for her :D

You really should read it, I don't think it's better than Gatsby, but it's really different. I think Gatsby is more cute and prude, The Tycoon is more glamorous and mature. :)

Oh I haven't watched this one but I watched Imogene McCarthery last week, it was so sweet, I think you'd like it :) Catherine plays a Scottish woman who is a little bit bitter about men, about England and some other stuff, in 1962. I don't know if you have watched OSS 117 too? It's a little bit similar. I just loved it a lot. ♥ I think I loved every movies I watched with her starring.

It's been on my list for ages and I'll definitely read it this summer :D

That sounds like a film I would definitely love except I don't think I can get it here in the States :( But I'll keep looking! I've added OSS 117 to my Netflix list, so I'll be watching that soon :D Thank you for the recommendations ♥
