I don't want the battle to be more classic. I want it to be more modern. Like KH. (Taking into consideration that has nothing to do with modernization for some reason I felt like using the word.) But I have absolutely no idea what active means either ( ... )

WHEN YOUR CURRENT PARTY WIPES YOU CAN REPLACE THEM WITH YOUR THREE RESERVES AND KEEP FIGHTING

...but yeah, 11:30 in and I'm giving this game an A+ so far. I knew that I would love this game from the moment I heard that everyone was going "waaaah, it's changing too much, they're ruining Final Fantasy."

I'm not complaining that they are changing the game. I love the changes to the game. I'm just anal about it... because it isn't perfect I'm allowed complaints.

You still have not said what isn't perfect, what needs to be more "modern", nor what needs improvement. Of course you're allowed to not like it, but you haven't said WHY you don't like it.

"The fighting system's got me a bit iffy"
"I want it to be more modern"
"I just wish it was a better improvement"
"it isn't perfect"

That's all you've said about the battle system =P I haven't seen anyone be so set in their opinion yet so utterly vague about it since I last talked to your brother xD.

Also, the voice overs no longer look dubbed. I guess it was only the very first part of the game they had issues with that. Weird, I know, but I'm not complaining.
