Did everybody enjoy my meal yesterday? I worked very hard on that, and you certainly seemed to find it good. Such a challenge, but such enjoyment was to be found in making such a wonderful selection of dishes.

Megumi came in the robes I gave her... she looked so very, very beautiful. I don't think I ever realised just how beautiful she was until ( Read more... )

Yes, everything was delicious, Mitsuhide-san. Thank you for taking the time to prepare such a feast for us.

And thank you for inviting me . . . I love spending time with you, Mitsuhide-san.

Ah . . . a kitten?

I am happy, Megumi-san. It took ever such a long time to create, but if I know it was good to your tastebuds, then I am immensely satisfied.

I... would not prepare anything like that and not invite you, Megumi-san. It wouldn't be right, not having you there.

Yes; a small one, barely fed and clesrly abandoned. How could anyone chuck such an innocent creature to the snow like that? I am shamed that anybody would. She is quite ill, but I will take care of her, and I hope she will get better.

If ever you should need help next time, I would not mind assisting you if I can and if you'd like, Mitsuhide-san.

. . . I . . .

I am glad.

It was a pleasure to be there with you.

. . .

Mmm . . . I could have a look at her, if you'd like. I . . . may not be well-versed with that branch of medicine, but if I could help . . . I'll do what I can . . .

[ooc; she's miffed at/scared to death of animals, but she'll do it for him. ^.~]

I would always welcome you, should you wish to help. Your cakes are most divine, you know.

....it was wonderful to have you there, you know.

It's OK, Megumi-san. When she is well, I shall be finding her a good home. She just needs a little rest and feeding. It would not do to keep her in such a crowded place, she would only get frightened, poor little thing. I am acquainted with several residents of my building who wish for animal company to drive away the ticking, and I know she will be most welcomed. And I can visit her, too.

....

Megumi, are you dealing with the ticking OK?

[ooc: *is amused* Good job he isn't keeping her, then. XD He would if he lived alone, but he feels it's rude in a shared flat. ;P]

Ah, I'm glad you think so! I should be happy to make you cake anytime.

Oh, that is good, then. I'm sure that someone would be glad to have a kitten with them.

Mmm . . . the ticking? Well, it's only bothersome when I am alone once in a while . . . But being with you easily remedies that, Mitsuhide-san.

[ooc; XD He's really too sweet. XD If he had kept it, Megumi would've seen to it anyway; she gave in in that episode and took care of the doggie anyway at everyone's behest. XD]

I would like that very much. I do love cake, perhaps a little more than I ought. But with all the exercise I get, I don't put ruin my physique, so I don't suppose it matters too much. As long as I am fit as a samurai ought to be, I am satisfied.

They would. People should not have to live with that ticking, which is why I was concerned about you. I am only sorry I did not think of it before; it was most rude of me.

I am glad you think so... but you are not with me as often as I'd like all the time, especially when you go to sleep at night. Are you sure you're OK with it?

[ooc: Sweet his practically his middle name right now. XD Awwww, gosh. ♥]

Ah, that is good then. I just want you to be safe and healthy and happy, Mitsuhide-san.

Mmm . . . I think I am . . . I . . . I think I can manage . . . Please don't worry about me, Mitsuhide-san . . .

[ooc; she's trying to be strong for him. XD She doesn't want to worry him too much or burden him with too much concerns. ^^]

Megumi-san... one thing you must learn about me is this. The moment anybody tells me not to worry, it gives me justifiable cause to worry. Please... if this ticking is bothering you, tell me about it.

[ooc: And in doing so, he has automatically picked up on it and is now more worried than before. XD]

. . . I will, Mitsuhide-san . . . Thank you for inquiring after me . . . I . . . I truly appreciate it . . . More than you know . . .

But . . . what about you, Mitsuhide-san? You are not bothered by it, I hope?

[ooc; oh dear. XD And look at her now trying to deflect the conversation to him. XD]

I live with something like five other people, Megumi-san. You and I both know that I'm fine. I am rarely alone and thus do not suffer under it.

You are trying to change the conversation. Megumi-san, keep trying that and I'll just come and set up camp on your sofa. I mean it. Don't think I'm not serious.

[ooc: It didn't work. ;P]

I would not want to deprive you of the company of your friends, Mitsuhide-san . . . That would not be fair to you, nor to them, because anyone would be blind not to miss your presence . . .

. . . I don't want to impose . . .

[ooc; he's making her crumble. XD]

Megumi, they have each other. You are living alone, and right now that fact is completely occupying my thoughts. If I can grant you just a few nights of peace at least, without imposing, then it is something.

And now I won't allow you to say no. Because I can tell it is bothering you.

Mitsuhide-san . . .

I . . .

I could stay with you instead, if you'd like . . .

Just so that you don't have to go through the trouble of staying here alone with me . . .

silk_in_ebony December 27 2007, 02:36:52 UTC
Why would you think I'd consider that trouble?

Megumi-san. You know I care about you, don't you?

. . . Mmm.

I do . . .

And I care about you too, Mitsuhide-san . . . I don't want to see you burdened or inconvenienced . . .

Megumi-san.

It is neither an inconvenience or a burden. Do you see? I enjoy spending time with you, even if I'm just resting on a sofa and you're sleeping on a bed.

This. Is. Not. Trouble.

I'd be happy to do it. More than happy. OK?
