Caelum Week 1 - Nyx Family
Well, let’s start this thing!
I have to admit I forgot to take pictures of the settlers first meeting, but as I had stopped the time with the freezer clock and maxmotived them to death, it was not really part of the first week anyways. Let’s just imagine whatever took place on that nice and cosy meeting was what happened during their travels...

Ayazo was the first settler to arrive in Caelum, the building company the government had granted him and his new settlers had already been there and his new house was already standing on the little hill he had chosen as the place of their settlement. The first thing Ayazo decided to do was to try out the chess table he had bought on a whim. Ayazo had never really learned how to play chess and the game really puzzled him.
As chess seemed to difficult for him, Ayazo put the shiny chess-pieces away and started to plant tomatoes in his little garden. Alien or not, a Sim needs food and as there aren’t any grocery shops nearby planting vegetables is the only way to survive. Unfortunately the garden club members are able to find you even in the most remote place a Sim can find, but by ignoring the lady Ayazo got rid of her pretty fast. Since the day was rather hot he decided to take a nice bubble bath after the gardening was done, playing in the bathtub after finishing naturally included!
Not wanting to spent the nice day inside his house Ayazo went outside to look after his tomato plants but he was soon distracted, as Thor the friendly neighbourhood dog/wolf came by. They played together till it got dark and Ayazo started to feel hungry.
Starting to cook grandma’s soup wasn’t the best idea Ayazo ever had. But who knew that battery powered cookers could start to burn? Luckily he had a fire extinguisher at hand or his whole kitchen would have burned down. The soup on the other hand was not exactly saved and tasted really terrible.
His workday was pretty uneventful but his garden hadn’t taken is absence very well, so the very first thing he had to do after coming home from work was to spray his tomato plants and apple tree against bugs.
The other settlers had arrived during the day and when Ayazo went back inside he ran into Caleb Wilder. Caleb wasn’t too thrilled that Ayazo hadn’t been there to welcome them in the morning but a nice little chat seemed to ease things out again. They even discovered that they had quite a few things in common. Caleb even didn’t seem to mind when Ayazo decided that he wanted to run around in his underwear, even giving him a friendly hug before he left again.
Ayazo really takes care of his little garden he doesn’t even mind the rain. But one thing really puzzled him about his new home there seem to be even butterflies when it rains. He tried to catch a few for closer examination, but wasn’t able to, which really made him sad.
When it stopped raining Caleb and his sister Rose came by and spent the afternoon. Caleb soon decided that he wanted to play a round of chess, but neither Rose nor Ayazo wanted to join him. They rather spent their time talking about their journey and how to build up the town.

Rose soon made a move on Ayazo and he didn’t seem to mind. Although there was this one lyric line stuck in his head every time Rose kissed him...
The next work day ended with a huge surprise, Ayazo was promoted! Ayazo hadn’t thought that this would happen so soon and he was pretty surprised by it, so surprised in fact that he decided to instantly pay back part of the loan he had received from the government for his little enterprise.
When he turned away from the mailbox he saw the plantsim girl called Jolene stroll in his direction. Jolene had heard that Ayazo had a little bit of trouble with is garden and wanted to offer her guidance. They talked way until midnight before Jolene went back home.
Ayazo had the next day off and had originally planned to do some gardening but Rose showed up early in the morning, greeting him with a kiss and offering him a good backrub. As his muscles were pretty tensed he was more than happy to agree. When Jolene showed up a little bit later he left the girls to their game of chess and harvested his very first apples. They didn’t look all that great but he was sure that they were still eatable. He was in such a good mood that he even invited both the girls to a nice lunch, consisting of a bunch of sandwiches!
He tried out quite a new approach on flirting after lunch, namely taking a bath while Rose was sitting on the toilet, otherwise known as "The Naked Man". It seemed to work as Rose followed him into the bedroom for a little adult fun. What he totally overlooked was the fact that Jolene followed them too. Staying in the bedroom while he was woohooing with Rose...
Jolene even wanted to talk with Rose about her WooHoo with Ayazo, but Rose wasn’t really fond of that idea. Ayazo flirting with her made up for Jolene’s strange behaviour though, although she was really surprised that Ayazo wasn’t freaked out about the fact that Jolene had watched them. He even gave Jolene a tight hug before she left. Rose left shortly after the plantsim, seeing as Ayazo had fallen asleep on his couch.
Ayazo really seemed to have good luck at his work, as he was promoted again, after only one day of work. When Jolene stopped by in the evening he invited her to a game of chess and although she tried really hard to explain the rules to him, Ayazo still was really puzzled by them. Luckily he soon found out another way to pass the time...
On the next day Jolene stopped by again as did Eilreir. Ayazo first was a bit insecure around Eilreir, having heard so many bad stories about werewolfs, but he soon found out that Eilreir was a really nice guy, who loved to talk about mechanics all the time. A fact that made Ayazo prick up his ears, a Sim with excellent mechanical skills could mean running water and electricity after all!
Later that evening Marawyn Wilder came by. Ayazo had started to like her very much during their travels to Caelum so he was thrilled to see her. Very thrilled to be exact! God knows what he would have done if Eilreir hadn’t decided to start a pillow fight the moment Ayazo turned around to follow Mara into the house. The pillow fight ended very soon and while Ayazo went to search for Mara, Eilreir decided that it was the perfect time to flirt with Jolene, which Ayazo promptly took as a sign to start flirting with Mara...

Puh... what a week! Ayazo really flirts with every female unlucky enough to walk by. I kind of understand Mara, they have the same aspirations, but Jolene and Rose? They both only share one bolt with him but after their hang out sessions they started flirting. And Jolene... well she really likes to watch ;)
