Yep, "palomino" would be correct as the Champagne gene has a similar affect on Chestnut as the Cream gene does, 'cept you get that pinkish skin and those gorgeous amber eyes.
I look forward to hearing how he does for you! Any questions and I'm all ears. He's quite young yet so you stwo should have many good years together. And post some pictures! It looks like he has that lovely arabish Doc Bar head on him.
Heheh, he looks thoroughly soaked. Looks like he has a pretty short face too and you'll need to shorten up the cheek and throat pieces on that halter, not too hard to do once you get the hang of the knots.

I'm just sorry that I can't help you right now out with money stuff, as I am really struggling to get by myself due to chronic lack of employment, but when I have a job again I will try to help by buying some prints or something!!
