I think I've just read the funniest story I've ever set eyes upon! I'm glad you enjoyed it! :D I have to say reading this story was really good for my self-esteem - even if my cooking skills aren't very impressive, I'm at least a better cook than Sherlock Holmes. LOL! Oh, so you like Sherlock Holmes stories, too? Have you read any SH fanfiction before now?

I love the Sherlock Holmes stories, but I've read very little fanfiction for it. Last time I checked there was almost nothing good to be found. *sad* But that was a while ago - apparently it's time to start looking again!

I never even thought of looking for Sherlock Homes fanfiction, until I recently decided to finally give in and watch the Guy Ritchie movie... with the result that I felt the need to re-read the books afterwards and enjoyed them so much once again that I did not want to stop reading and began to comb ff.net for suitable stories, though I didn't have much hope I'd find anything. I was about to give up after wading through pages of stories that really weren't what I was looking for or wanted to read, when I stumbled across a community that led me to some great authors. If you want to read some SH fanfiction, you might probably enjoy the stories of Westron Wynde and KCS. Westron Wynde wrote "First Catch Your Hare" and as far as I can tell after reading three more of her stories, she must be one of the most talented SH authors out there. KCS is a Christian Sherlockian, whose stories I absolutely love - you might be interested in knowing that she also writes Star Trek ( ... )

You're very welcome! I was so happy when I stumbled across Westron Wynde and KCS - it's so much fun to suddenly have lots of good stories to read! :D KCS also has a SH community, which is well worth looking into. Now I just need some time to read all those stories! *g*
