i second Fly Lotus, it hasn't left my cd player for 2 weeks now. some I would recommend would be
Crystal Castles GutBucket Slim (can get the cd online for free at their myspace.) It's basically some guy playing blues guitar over songs like the way you make me feel, Superfreak, and even one of george carlins rant's. also the new Sparklehorse/Dangermouse album "dark night of the soul". basically they made some music and got all sorts of singers to help out. (iggy pop, wayne coyne (flaming lips), Black Francis, Julian Casablanca (the strokes), and lots more. David Lynch even does a song or two.
