Ya know, there are about two people in this world who's poetry I can read and for me to go "Sweet merciful shit this is rockin," but sometimes the goosebumps say it for me. Seriously, man, I feel honored to know someone who can, I don't know the phrase, paint words(?), like you can. Rock on, Alex rodriguez, rock. On.

...dooooodiieheeeaaaaad!

Coming from a man so after my heart as you, Russian Funk, that means a fuckload.

I will keep on rockin' on. If only for you.

And for Jesus, of course. ;)

(Tell me you get that reference.)

But wait. Who's the second guy whose poetry you enjoy? I must know, so I can off him. I mean, so I can read him.

- Alex

P.S. I can't see your goosebumps, jackass, so your kind words will have to suffice for the time being. ;)

ya ure right about everything leaving. everything has to leave at one point. thats the way life has been planned out...but i guess instead of seeing it as a negative thing, which it is, we should enjoy it while we have it, whatever it may be. i mean, if we know its going to leave at one point, then we should spend time with whatever it is and enjoy it...

thats how i see it atleast..i suppose i just hate goodbyes....

a wise man once said,

Why can't we get all the people together in the world that we really
like and then just stay together? I guess that wouldn't work.
Someone would leave. Someone always leaves. Then we would have to
say goodbye. I hate goodbyes. I know what I need. I need more hellos.

snoopy is so smart :)

"i understand now.
he offers you warmth, right?

and all i ever could teach you
was how to be okay with the
cold."

this one's my favorite.

"everything ends up leaving.

it is a fact of my existence,
like my pointy elbows and
my mom's middle name.
even a tear, i'm afraid, is just water

running away from me."

and this one, unfortunately, i can relate to right now.
these poems are an array of different situations and circumstances but atleast one speaks to everyone. they're simple and complicated.

good stuff, friend.

I think I might understand why that one is your favorite. But then again, I might have no clue.

I'm just glad you're still reading.

Thank you. And you're welcome. Friend.
