This was excellent!! The pace was very patient and methodical, much like I'd expect Itachi to be. Though "he is aware", that awareness didn't stop him from feeling sentimental. And there was enough of an acknowledgement between him and Deidara (without going TOO sentimental) to be believeable. I'm not that much of an ItaDei shipper, but I could definitely read it both ways.

And the sky did the crying for him. OMG that was perfect.
