Percy was not the most social of vampires. He was, if anything, the least social of them all. Always glowering and hedging away from others. He liked his isolation, and quiet. The scent of the city lay foul and heavy, a scent of shit and sweat and piss and the diseases that grow in living things’ guts. He did not need to breathe it in of course, but it makes him nervous not to. Something could get the better of him if he did not employ all this senses.

Still, he did not care for it. And he did not care for these new clothes. They had the stink of the man he took them from.

That was awhile ago though, when he met the man. He would have to meet another before long. But this new place made him nervous, horribly nervous. He had never hunted before in such a place. Perhaps the other would teach him how…

He knocked. Knock knock knock.

The door opened without Percy getting up, his eyes turned toward the doorway with a skeptical expression. But seeing the boy...seeing the boy made him smile, his head tilting to the side.

"Well, well, well...The cat dragged you in finally?" He asked, chuckling. "I was beginning to think you'd never show up. Silly me."

Arsène stepped inside, reagrding Percy with a look of uncertainty. ‘I took the train. I would have preferred the cat.’

He shook his head, ruffling his hair thoroughly, like a dog trying to shake off an itch.

‘Impressive trick with the door. Do you know others?’

"I have many," Percy replied, sweeping his arm around to invite Arsene to sit. "Make yourself and how...Unless you are afraid I'll bite." Which he probably would, but that was very much beside the point.

"I'm glad to see you fled the country side of France finally."
