a little while ago, standing outside on my patio watching the cars go by, i came up with this cheesy poem with terrible lyris. and it went like this

Well Johnny, I am not defending racism. But racism is not that hard to understand. Often racists are products of their environment. For example, people with racist parents often end up becoming racist themselves. Since you have parents of two different races, perhaps you don't know what it's like to have a racist family. Stephen always says that my mom's racist.
Some would call me a racist because, when the police told me that the person who totaled my car by running a red light had no insurance -- not even a driver's license -- I yelled a racial epithet for Mexicans beginning with "s." Does this mean that I hate all Mexicans? No, of course not. I hate illegal immigrants who end up nearly killing me because they got on the road before taking driver's ed. But racist slurs are hateful, and I have nothing but hate for this guy who killed my car.

It is ok to react the way you did to your situation. It’s just that people seem to pass down racism like some kind of genetic hereditary disease. Why can’t the past disputes be forgotten. Racism is so fucking pointless. No one needs it. Fuck white people. Fucking arrogant bastards. If you hate someone, just hate them because they’re them. Don’t hate them because of their race… why bring a whole culture into it.
I think one thing that's misunderstood about racism is that calling someone a "nigger," or even saying it often, doesn't neccessarily make you a racist. To me, "nigger" is a term equivalent with "white trash," and calling someone "white trash" doesn't imply in any way that you hate all white people. I don't think calling a black person a "nigger" is neccessarily racist. There are white people and "white trash," and there are black people and "niggers." Chris Rock, dawg.
