It's snowing!!!! Holy guacamole! I actually didn't think it would snow. But it is!!! and that makes me happy. now i'm just hoping the weathermen are right and that it'll be some 6-10 inches and NOT melt and maybe school will be cancelled....hmmmm

Hmmm. Yeah, it's understandable that you think people shouldn't go out and get married immediately. At least age-wise, though- if you're going to have kids, you should probably do it before 40 or so, and you probably want to be married a few years before hand. But, I guess people have had the idea of "you grow up and get married and have kids" kind of ingrained in them. That doesn't mean that they can't keep learning and be adventurous and such, like you said- married couples can still go out and party and such. And, of course, with divorces- no one ever thinks that it would happen to them, though. They always like to think they'll be in that half that stays happily married. Whee cynicism :)

I totally and completely agree with you about the marriage issue. Why limit yourself to the vieew that there's only one person in the world who can make you completely happy? What if my "soulmate" lives in the far reaches of Zimbabwe? There must be more than one "other half" for everyone.
