Other lizards (the ones in the nazi uniforms) are called the Hirogen they hunt other people. I looked up the guy who plays Q on the imdb.com and he did not guess star in Firefly. BUT I did discover that the guy who played Odo did the voice of the chef in the Little Mermaid. Thought you would find that interesting.
