after not going away this weekend

May 18, 2010 23:22

I've booked flights to Ottawa and Toronto for travel in July. Yay! Add in a road trip to Montreal and a trip to British Columbia that month and I'll only be home[1] one weekend in July.
I want more stories from Kinetik and the Steampunk World Faire! :)

I'd love to have more to tell you; I wanted to stay for another week!

I loved reading your report, it made me hungry for more from other people. :) I've mostly seen some quick FB updates or tiny lj posts. Oh, and one video of fudjo. :)

When are you going to Montreal? Andy and I are toying with heading there over the July 4th weekend.

We're going up for the Fantasia film festival, and it doesn't start until July 8th this year. We'll be going the weekend of the 17-18th.

YAY!

it really is too bad that you need to work in between Toronto/Ottawa/Montreal, because (as you know) those are all easily driveable between each other.

I know. :/ There's just too much going on this year for me to be able to take a week or two off and make it a road trip.

Argentina is the single most awesome place I've ever been, so I hope you love it!

Yup, Boston is home now. For now. Home is a fluid concept usually defined by where my bed is. :)

This, qualified by the statement that Toronto is home in that it's the only place I've ever lived that really *felt* like I belong there.
