A delivery truck was double parked and the driver had just thrown up the roll door. A white mist was rolling out of the back of the truck, drifting into the road. As I went through it, a cold fog enveloped me, a tiny harbinger of winter

This morning felt like spring to me. Cloudier and cool when I was out on my run, and then sort of golden, with sunshine reflecting off wet streets during my bike ride. Windy in a wet, lush way, not crisp like fall.
