Words are such an addiction for our mind.
I have to get ready for work, but will be back, to try to express that which can not be expressed but must be experienced.
The pathways can be talked about though, and there are many of them.

Oh...and it happens in moments. At least it did for me. Moments, and awareness of those moments.

BACK for a moment, And Loving and Accepting oneself is a great journey and well worth the making. wynsong August 2 2011, 17:29:14 UTC
AT ANY AGE.

I would love to have started it earlier.

So the first step to really allowing yourself to love and accept your SELF, is to walk in all the aspects of who you are. What you know or think you already know about who you are, and then all your shadow aspects (both what we call light and dark aspects of our shadow).

And it is learning to sit with all those aspects of our SELF, especially the sides we like to ignore, that takes years.

And it is learning to accept that our greatest strength, the piece we have relied on for years, can also be our greatest weakness. And being good with that.

Anyway,
I have to run again, but just that is a great start.
Ans there are a million ways to get to see our own shadow...which we can talk about if you like.

Anyway, for this moment...and more and more moments strung together in a row, I truly have found that I like and love and accept myself, completely as I find me, in each moment. It is wonderful. I highly recommend it.

Oh...and to quote Yoda..."there is no try. Do or do not!"
Re-evaluating the way we have perceived the world and all that happens in it. is a life long process. We can hold on to ways that served us as teens, into our 80's, but for most, it doesn't work that well. BUT that doesn't mean that the way we looked at things as teens wasn't perfect, even as an 80 year old...it just means we aren't limited to that point of view.
