{Day Forty-Nine} [Voice Post]

Aug 17, 2010 14:23

Hey, uhhhh, does anybody know what the hell's going on? 'Cause this isn't where I'm supposed to be. Last I checked, I was in DC.

[There's some shuffling in the background.]

...And why isn't the fog lifting? Even San Francisco didn't stay foggy for this long!

The fog only seems to lift at night.

-You sound familiar.

Seriously? That's not right...or natural.

...Huh? How so? 'Cause this is the first I've heard you.

Nothing about this place is natural.

Ah, dunno. Maybe you just have one of those voices.

...Just what happens here anyway?

Maybe! I get that a lot, though. I'm Alfred Jones, by the way!

Well, it never really stops being foggy. Except at night, but then everything else gets worse... It's just the way this town works, I guess.

That's really weird. ...I'm almost afraid to ask, but what happens at night?

It gets really scary... the everything is dirty and covered with blood, the food goes bad and starts to mold, and the number of monsters outside triples.

[His reply comes a couple minutes later, as he had been busy freaking out in his room.]

Monsters? What kind of monsters are we talking about?

I was in D.C., too, but there's no way that's where this is.

Supposedly, we're in a little town called Silent Hill.

Silent...Hill? Uhhh.... [There's a shuffling of papers heard faintly in the background.] Same town mentioned in the pamphlet? Doesn't look like the type of place for fog like this.

Yeah, it's the name of the place, anyway. I just got here last night, myself.

You probably know a lot more than I do right now. Other than the fact that this pamphlet thing lies. I haven't seen anything nice about this little town. I just know that we're in America, still. But I have no idea where.

Because it's always foggy. You'll have to get used to it.
