Officer Bennett and myself made it to the police station with little to no injuries acquired. The monsters out at night are definitely not as formidable as I was led to believe, but they are still not to be confronted without any sort of weapon. Think of something like that. However, it's primarily made of metal and contains bullets instead of what you would use as arrows. There's a device called a "trigger" on the handle and you pull it. The bullet goes flying out at what you've set your aim on. It's a long-range weapon, basically.

We needed to get where we were going. There was no use in waiting. I've already set up a group to leave this coming morning in order to seek out food. We can't sit on our haunches and pass our nights idly thinking, "It's so scary out there!" We need to come together and do what's necessary in order to simply get through this.
