I noticed that Giles doesn't really mind that threat.

I really liked this snapshot of the things that Giles has to put up with, and how Xander seems to be the only one who Giles can rely on.

Who would, really? Oh, and suddenly I have a Xander ghost bunny looking at me... does that count as you bunnying me or did I do it to myself? lol

There's a good balance of warmth and steel in the Giles you're painting. He's sympathetic toward JJ, but he can't let her get hurt or get someone else injured. Xander having his back was lovely.

This made me laugh: "But if I get eaten, I'm totally coming back to haunt your ass for the rest of your tweed-filled life, G-man." The demon immediately snuggling up to Xander gave me a giggle and showed he was the right man for the job.

These captures of Giles' days are fun.

Heh. Cute baby demons. And baby slayers. Poor Giles. Poor Xander. No one wanted to discipline Buffy and she was 16. Disciplining JJ must be exponentially worse.

Love this day-in-the-life concept, and love Giles going all stern and head-of-council-ish. Love Xander as perpetual demon magnet as well, even the small, blue, and cute demons.
