not a good day.

so I ended up not doing Stardom for my assignment. wrote this instead, from my original-fic-verse.

Gregory Hunter is like the ocean. He does not know the meaning of giving up, and therefore always returns, like waves beating against the sand. Like salt water slipping through a young girl’s fingers, Hunter continuously evades capture, by even the top agents. Hunter likes to bend people to his will, to control and take over, to dominate, and though the ocean has no feelings on the matter, it does just the same with its reshaping of the world’s coastlines and its habit of destroying civilizations as well as producing them. Hunter is like the ocean in that his power can be felt by opposition, like a stray bottle bobbing in the angry waves. The ocean’s sharp contrast to the sand mirrors that of Hunter’s physical appearance; Greg Hunter stands out in a crowd as a rule, and not only for the three bodyguards he insists on employing. He has never a hair out of place or an outfit for the wrong occasion, not to mention an obvious disdain for those beneath him. Hunter can hurt more easily than he can comfort, but still he lures people to him. Like the dangerous crashing of waves against sharp rocks, drawing a child to watch in adoration and fascination. There is no mistaking the sinister air around Hunter or the ocean; it’s a simple state of fact, and nothing the child can do will change it.

But when Alexis watches the moonlight dance on the shimmering whitecaps, she can feel the power drawing her in.

piano: forgot my bookbag. love playing my song, but forgot my bag. >.< apparently I have my 8-page song by memory, though, because I played that without too much of a hitch. lol!

lotr was okay; test wasn't horrible, but I didn't know a lot of the names. >.< why do all the elves have to have nearly the SAME names? grr. wrote an essay for it, but it had the general tone of "Frodo shouldn't make the Fellowship's desicions because it will invariably end badly." lol!

biology is the suckiest subject that ever sucked. didn't have anything memorized. had an impromptu POP QUIZ. wtf? first one EVER in this class. and I have a huge long rant about the class as a whole, but it's really not nice, so I'll just shut up. >.<

art was pretty good. we watched two 30 min. videos of some really old lady with a wig and horrible glasses. i'll admit, she can paint. >.< anyway, after that, we drew Sasha, because she didn't want to draw. she apparently didn't want to hold still either, but at least she managed to keep a straight face for most of the time. will scan the sketch later. everyone says it looks just like her, but I think there's something off-kilter about the angle of her eyes versus the angle of her mouth. even so, I'm relatively pleased with the result.

dashed home, got the dogs, dashed out. dog training class holiday party. why is it potluck meals always taste horrible? >.< the pasta was alright, but that was about it. even the cookies were not so much in the good area of tastes. *hates peppermint with a firey passion* realllly cute little dogs though; like teacup yorkies, only not yorkies. I dunno what breed they are, but they're SO CUTE. and during the gift exchange, my sis stole their box of little-dog toys, so they had to go pick again, and they picked a bag of these kinda big, puffy, squeaky toys. one was a stuffed snake long enough to wrap around the owner's neck twice. so, with these toys laying on the floor in front of the little dogs' cage, one of them grabbed the snake and started to pull it in. and when it was about halfway in, she came out to get another toy and stuffed it in too. she tried for the last toy, but the huge tag kinda tripped her up, and all the effort wore her out, so she just went to sleep. LOL! SO CUTE.

OH, and I did say "I was dead at the time," during biology, but Tiff said, "oh, that's from that guy that you talked about." yeeeah. never got a chance to say the moon one. lol! that one would'a been funny too.

now, I'm off to watch the first Harry Potter, where all the actors are sooooo young and inexperienced. *giggles*

oh, and I'm going to a lego tournament tomorrow. first time I haven't been in it, so it should be interesting. maybe I'll get to judge or something....
