I went to see MCR in Seattle the other night! It was kind of spur of the moment (only bought the tickets last week or so), and I was SO THANKFUL, because I really thought I wouldn't get to see them again before, like... they went back to the studio and wrote a new album and started touring on THAT. so I was very glad. I.... heard it from my twitter feed, I think! idk what the original sighting said but my secondhand (thirdhand?) information is that Gerard and Mikey (I think) were spotted shopping for Gucci sunglasses. I'm assuming it was a twitter sighting.

Not gonna lie, I was a littttttttle bit resentful that MCR wasn't the big draw to this show (and that the big draw is a band I dislike). I just feel like, with their FANS, they're even BETTER, and with these assholes (because the blink fans around me WERE assholes) they can't shine to their full brightness. Made me wanna scream extra loud, because I was there for them, not just casually cheering while I waited for something better.

ALL OF YOUR FEELINGS, I CONCUR WITH THEM. Like, I didn't even believe it at first - we just got back from the UK, and then Mum was reading about Brian May talking about Freddie's birthday, and then one of the sidebars was all MY CHEMICAL ROMANCE FIRE DRUMMER and DDDD:. Like someone said on tothetune, clearly someone's hexed the drummer position like the DADA job in Harry Potter.

I'm glad you got to see them though <333. And that they're just carrying on and going on movie dates and posting unsubtle blogs about said movies, and god, I'm so like, PROUD of them for doing that.

(also lol, you're like the third person I've seen who went for MCR and HATED blink. I'm actually sort of fond of them, but yeeeah, Tom can be deeply annoying and also their stage banter apparently hasn't matured AT ALL and it was always at like, 12 year old boy level, so. : / Travis and his flying drum kit is always awesome though!)
