OMG! I saw this prompt today & it sounded so yummy, I was hoping someone would write it soon. Nobody could have done it better. Having spent many many evenings alongside a beach bonfire, I can appreciate the glow and how it always makes people look so bright & beautiful. And how there is always a certain point where the firelight no longer penetrates the darkness. It's a special, private place...you can see the others in the glow, but you know they can very barely see you. So sweet, this was, and brought beautiful memories back to me. Love you!
