SO, tomorrow i am driving up to atlanta for my very first MCR CONCERT. i'm so excited. :DDDDDD but i start freaking out if i'm unprepared for things, and since i've never done an mcr show before, or even a rock show like this, i... feel very unprepared. /o\ like, idk what to bring, what kind of shoes to wear, if i can take my camera, all that kind

if you're going to be in the pit, definitely wear shoes that don't come off easily. when everyone starts pushing and the crowd gets ridiculous, sometimes it's hard to get your feet back under you, and if you're wearing like slip ons or something, it'd be really easy to lose one. and don't bother with a bag if you're going to be in the pit, it'd be really easy to lose that too

So my friend and I went to our first MCR concert a couple weeks ago and it was AWESOME, but. Tips, they are good. I second (third, nth) the motion of putting your hair up, and you should probably wear something you're cool with having soaked in sweat, some of it not your own. Gross, but true

I think everything's already been said bb, but lemme add my EEEEEE SO EXCITED FOR YOUUUUU anyway :DDD

And basically yeah: wear shoes you think you'll be comfy standing in for hours and hours on end; don't necessarily worry about getting in line cause you'd be surprised how far you can get just wriggling through the crowd (answer: about six feet from one Gerard Way and his stupid faaaace); stand your ground if you go into the pit or you'll get shoved out the way, but sometimes if it's a serious surge you just have to go with it; wear clothes you don't mind getting covered in sweat, tie back long hair, and DW about the pit bb - I usually hate people but I looove shows cause everyone's in it together and it's all about the music and :DDD. Also, at least over here, security hands out little disposable cups of water a couple of times during the show to those at the barier and then they pass it back through the crowd (or at least that's the theory); andsometimes Frank flicks his water bottle over everyone because he's awesome
