My Nan is German and I think its a great language, people dismiss it as being incredibly harsh and aggressive but I think its wonderful. I'd probably vote German!
In Manchester Spanish is the language to learn though, everyone I know is attending Spanish classes.

I love how German sounds. It's just.. cool. lol. But I also love how Italian sounds, hence the indecision. >.<
Spanish is the language to learn here too. Well, in America in general. In the Northwest where I am, Chinese and Japanese are pretty big I think, but I said "NO WAY" to learning an entirely new alphabet. LOL But anyway, I thought about Spanish, but I'm not a big fan of it, really. I so suck at deciding things. lol

I guess it depends on how difficult you want to make it for yourself. You'll probably get to grips with Italian quickly because you've had lessons in it before which is obviously a confidence booster. Plus if you don't know anyone taking Italian it could be a great way to widen your friendship group (if you wanted to? I'm shy I find it difficult to be with new people)
