Spending long hours in the car with my parents. Being in close quarters with them for more than 2 hours is mentally and emotionally draining. Tonight is the Harvest Moon though. Whoopee. Nothing to do. Nowhere to go since Lucy isn't here. Ruined the plans! Oh well.

IT'S NATIONAL FRIENDSHIP WEEK.

The Spartanburg Bands Together in the what's-it-called park was pretty incredible. The volunteers raised $21,000 for the Katrina victims. I got a magnet. It's huge. Was impressed by Dezeray's Hammer.

And 40 Year Old Virgin is a must-see-eventually. I could not stop laughing during the body wax.

School sucks before it even starts. My room looks good in lilac.

Horror films have lost their horror for me. Now all I think about is the texture and color of the blood used, how convincing the make-up is, the acting, etc. No longer stay up all night with the lights on and my heart beating out of my chest. What ever happened to writing letters? Going down to the mailbox isn't as exciting. All you get are bills, cards, or college stuff. Nobody is writing to see how you are or because they miss you. Now you got the AIM and the e-mails. They don't have the same sentiment. I miss letters. Just thought I'd say it.

Driving to spencer is not so terrible, except when the car breaks down on the way back right after passing a rest area. If such a situation arises, do not panic. Calmly fan yourself with an air freshener packet and play SNAKE 2 on your cell phone or call a friend to chat while you wait for your father to come ( Read more... )

It was funny. It was great. It was Blazing Saddles!! Theatre was packed. Plenty of laughter. Felt bad about sitting between the couple. Oh well. And also taking the front seat. Damn I'm rude!

Great news from the AP people! They pased me with a 3 in Art History and a 4 in World History. Don't know how I managed a 4 in World. Blanked out on the essays. Went to Borders for a copy of Huckleberry. Didn't wanna leave when it started raining like monsoon outside. It was scary. Got a copy of Harry Potter in the mail. Very unexpected ( Read more... )
