Oh, yes.Very nice! I was on the edge of my seat waiting for Cuddy to wake up. I'm glad she didn't.

Thank you! I figured Cuddy had been through enough. ;)

Squeee! Thank you so much for going through with the story, even after the disheartening finale! I bow down to your awesomeness to pull this story off, because I wouldn't have thought it possible to work that way, but you totally made it work!

This is mind-boggling awesome. It's incredibly creepy, but still cheerful. How do you do that? For example the last paragraph gave me chills and made me smile at the same time. I'm scared of my own mind here!

I love the House/Rachel interaction in this so much. It's perfectly in character in a way I miss in most other stories out there that deal with the events of 7x23. I love that Rachel is wearing House's old shirt. Lol at the cheap duck that's worth 17 dollars by House's logic!

Lol at Wilson's attitude throughout this. I really think he needs a therapist as well!

P.S.: I'll reply with more later, but I'm almost falling asleep at the moment.

You deserve at least half the credit blame for this disturbing little story (and I'm passing the other half off on avidreadergirl because she did the beta). I swore after 7/23 that I was through with House, but you just keep pulling me back in. ;)

I'm very, very happy you like your gift. Get well soon!!!

I'll take the blame... there could be worse things in life to get blamed for after all! ;)

Oh, I just noticed that I completely forgot to comment on the "Is this real life?" line! That totally cracked me up! :)

Thank you! I'll do my best! ♥

House and Rachel always melts my heart, sigh, always, and when House lies to Rachel, my heart just broke for this man, still can't forgive for what he done, but his caring for Rachel is real, no one can take that away. ::hugs House and Rachel::

And yay for Wilson and a duck! ;)

I've always enjoyed House/Rachel, too! Hugh Laurie has great onstage presence with kids.

I couldn't resist the duck.

Glad you liked the story!

I love it and it's excellent and I can so see that little girl wiping her nose on House's pants.

Thank you! I wanted the House/Rachel interaction to be emotional yet still seem realistic, and nothing says "realism" like snot.

Oh, darn you. Darn you for dragging me back into House when I swear I want NOTHING to do with it, yet I keep coming back. Then again the realm of fanfiction is much safer than Shore's canon (and I just cannot stay away from House/Cuddy fics argh).

This is so creepy. I kept hoping Cuddy would wake up and bash him over the head with a baseball bat and chase him away, but that's just my evil wish to the writers who ruined the characters. :P The quiet House/Rachel interactions seal the deal and make it realistic. House breaking and entering just because he needs to be around her only to be caught by Rachel in his shirt and wiping snot on his knee and tugging on his hand. Guh. Also, the picture stealing is completely House. Then he goes back.

Why are you so amazing? ♥

PS. Sorry this is so late! RL went nuts on me but I'm back!

Sorry, I was on yet another LJ hiatus when you left this comment. But...

Thank you so much for the review! This story definitely isn't for everyone, so I really appreciate knowing you enjoyed it. I've always loved House's interaction with Rachel, and I'm going to miss it very much now that Cuddy is gone.

You're pretty amazing yourself. ♥
