It's funny you should mention that ovulating line, b/c from the moment he said it, I've thought it was one of the most romantic, sick, stalker-like things I have ever heard. I think a part of me fell a little bit in love with Gregory House just then, and of course I can't resist playing with that. In fact, it's been on my mind a lot lately, so don't be surprised if that theme shows up again soon in another fic around here. (Meaning, of course, I'm so obsessed it's sad.)

And thank you for singling out my "limping toward dawn" line! It was one of those things that I liked as a writer but didn't know if it would add anything to the context of the drabble. (Sometimes it's hard to tell.) I'm very glad to hear you approve! :)
